Frequently Asked Questions About the Tahiti Tiare Program®

Whether you are a Certified Tahiti Specialist® or a Tahiti Tiare Agent® enrolled in the destination training program, please remember that it is YOUR responsibility to update your records and information, by logging on to: http://www.TahitiTiareAgent.com

What is a Tahiti Tiare Agent?

A Tahiti Tiare Agent is travel advisor who is enrolled on the Tahiti Tiare Program®, the destination's specialist training course.

What is a Certified Tahiti Specialist®?

A Certified Tahiti Specialist® is a travel advisor who has completed all the steps of the training program successfully.

What is the cost to enroll in the Tahiti Tiare Program®?

There is NO cost to enroll in the program, it is completely free.

To become a Certified Tahiti Specialist®:

1. Complete Tahiti Tourisme Online Destination Presentation and Quizzes

  • The online destination presentation can be viewed at your own pace. To start with presentation, click on "Start the Tahiti Tiare Program®" banner, accessible on http://www.TahitiTiareAgent.com.

2. Complete the online quizzes

3. FAM trips to the Islands of Tahiti
Travel to the Islands of Tahiti on an organized or independent FAM trip to a minimum of three islands is required. For example: Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora. Cruise FAMs are acceptable. Once you return from your trip, your FAM trip details may be submitted online by logging into your account on the Tahiti Tiare Program® website http://www.TahitiTiareAgent.com and clicking on the banner that says “Access the Tahiti Tiare Program®” and then “Take a Trip to Tahiti”.

  • Recent trips to the Islands of Tahiti may apply depending on the travel date.
  • A visit to a minimum of three islands is required.
  • Your preferred Tahiti Tour Operator is a great resource for an organized FAM. Note: Space is usually limited.
  • TTNA reserves the right to request proof of travel (air + itinerary).

4. Submit your Tahiti bookings
Book a minimum of $30,000 in gross sales to the Islands of Tahiti within twelve months of registration date for the program. Each booking must be submitted online through Tahiti Tiare Program® website: http://www.TahitiTiareAgent.com using the login and password you created when registering. Login and click on the banner that says “Access the Tahiti Tiare Program®”, and then “Submit Bookings”.

You must submit: guest(s) names, travel dates, booking number, Tour Operator or cruise line, and total package price. Personal trips do not qualify as booking credit. Tahiti Tourisme North America reserves the right to request proof of booking at anytime.

The following types of bookings qualify:

  • Air + Land or Air + Cruise or Air + Cruise + Land (cruise has to be Tahiti to Tahiti)
  • Land only
  • Air only
  • Cruise only (Only cruises Tahiti to Tahiti apply. Embarkation and disembarkation port must be Tahiti.)
  • Only bookings for which a deposit has been made or bookings paid in full apply.

How can I update my contact information in the Tahiti Tiare Program®?

You can log in the Tahiti Tiare Program® website at anytime and update your information, whether it is your contact details, name of your agency, etc. It is important to keep your details up-to-date. Especially if you are a Certified Tahiti Specialist®, as the information you put in is what will be published on our website.

Where do I register my bookings to keep my Certified Tahiti Specialist® status?

Log in the Tahiti Tiare Program® website http://www.TahitiTiareAgent.com with the login and password used to create your account. Click on "Manage your Profile". Under there, you will see "Submit your Tahiti bookings".

Please be sure to enter the guests' names, travel dates, booking number, Tour Operator's name, booking total price. Please note that incomplete bookings will not be approved.

Applicable bookings:

  • Air + Land or Air + Cruise or Air + Cruise + Land (cruise has to be Tahiti to Tahiti)
  • Land only
  • Air only
  • Cruise only (only cruises Tahiti to Tahiti apply. Embarkation and disembarkation port must be Tahiti)
  • Only bookings for which a deposit has been made or bookings paid in full apply.

Where do I register my Tahiti bookings if I am enrolled in the Tahiti Tiare Program® and not certified yet?

How can I be listed on the Tahiti Tourisme's website?

It is only once you become a Certified Tahiti Specialist® that you will be listed on www.Tahiti-Tourisme.com

Please note that only Tahiti dedicated websites or at minimum a Tahiti dedicated page on your website will be listed.

What happens if I don’t maintain the minimum amount of $30,000 in bookings for Tahiti?

Your bookings must be submitted each year based on a calendar year (January 1st to December 31st). If you do not reach the minimum amount required to remain a Certified Tahiti Specialist®, you will not keep the status and benefits of a Certified Tahiti Specialist®, and will be removed from the website until you reach the required amount again.
